Almost there!
This year, we are having a bigger show and many many more kids!!!
If you have seen our Christmas Pictures 2009 (click on the Peruvian flag) you'll see we had so much fun and many many kids received Jesus as their savior!
This year, we are working with the same church (Filadelfia) but we are going to a higher location!!! where God told us to! this year we want to reach 300 children!!!
We are not only going to give them the classic Peruvian dinner (fruit cake with hot chocolate) but we want to serve them a good, nutritious lunch! Rice, chicken and soup!
Once again, dear friend, we can’t do this on our own. We are looking at 700 USD for this party. Please would you pray about supporting this Christmas party and bring Jesus' love to these children?
This Christmas party will be on December 20, (Monday)
God bless you!

Christmas!!!!
As we start this holyday season, let us remember what Jesus did for us. Lets share the Love of God with one another. Just like last Christmas, many of you helped me to bring joy and draw a smile to many Peruvian children. I am here to tell you, that this year God has putted in my heart a bigger dream. To be his hands to many more children.
Last year we were able to bless 200 children, with presents, hot chocholate and a piece of panteon (fruit cake), along with a fun show for them. I am sure many of you remember the “clown”; it was a great experience for me, as I hope was for you.
This year we want to bless 300 children, in a big town in Huaycan. We’ll be working with Pastor Manuel, with Filadelfia church. However, this year we’ll go to the top of the mountain, to one of the neediest villages. Would you please join with me as we bring the love of God and nursing to their buddies.
I will be posting more about this in a few days. May the Lord bless you.

Believing God for the impossible!
For those who know my family, you know we love people! We love to spend quality time with you and care for your needs… especially if you are a foreigner and are visiting
Since I can remember, my family always loved to host people. Maybe not as often as we do now, but I remember thinking: Man, I have so many uncles and aunts! They all come to my house, stay for a few days and visit my family. Little did I know that God was preparing my family for greater things! Nowadays, it is a joy for us to be able host teams from different parts of the world. Perhaps you have stayed in my house before, and know what I am talking about. Well, let me share with you our new challenge.
After hosting Austin (our first missionary, who became a friend and a brother to us, who stayed in our house for 4 months in 2005), I knew the Lord wanted us to keep on hosting his servants. My dad is a very people person, and loves to serve you. He will give you out of his own plate just to make you feel welcome. My mom, of course, she is the crazy cleaner, always cleaning the house before visits. Sometimes I think she cleans just because she is bored. Many times I’ve gotten up at 2 or 3 in the morning and she will be doing dishes or cleaning the bathroom… Because of these and many other reasons I knew the Lord was preparing us to host more and more people.
A few years ago (2006) when Anita and I left
When we got back to
As we started to host people, we didn’t have enough space. The demand was so high. So, one day I felt the Lord asked me to give him my whole month support (at that time was 400 USD). So, I called the carpenter and asked him how much would it be to build two extra bedrooms. He told me it was exactly 400 USD for the materials, but his handwork would be more. I don’t remember now how much he asked for. So in faith, I decided to buy everything he needed to build it, without the money to pay him. I told the carpenter to come back in a couple of weeks to start the project. Not even a week passed, when we had another guest. This time it was my good friend, Chad Crowmer, From Pittsburgh. I love this guy by the way! Jesus is all over him! Anyway, I told him what I was planning on doing, and he told me, “Cesar, I can help you build it. I’ve done it before.” So we built the 2 extra rooms! It was awesome! I really enjoyed working with him.
A few days later my grandmother donated 4 bunk beds, and some single beds, (all with mattresses and bedding). You could imagine my excitement! I was so thankful to God for the things He was doing. Oh I almost forgot about my good friend James. It happened the same as
Recently the Lord spoke to me about building the 3rd floor of my house for the same purpose. Just like He asked me for my only 400 USD to buy the materials for the two spare rooms. He now has asked me for all my savings to start this new project, His project.
Thanks to the donations of some missionaries we were able to build the steps (600 USD), 20% of the floor (600 USD) and our first column (80 USD) there is still much more to be done, but I trust God to bring people like James and
We have designed the house in a way that will be able to hold up to 30 people. And there will be one large study room, a dining room, 2 full bathrooms, and a kitchen. This building will be use by YWAM Lima next year for the first 3 months of their DTS. And the rest of the year will be open to any missionary or church, or any brother or sister in Christ who wants to do missions in
As you may know, I am thrilled and so excited to see the completion of this project, to see people coming and going. Blessing them and helping them in any possible way. I will keep you updated and will post some pictures soon.
Love you guys!!!

Peru, Brazil and Colombia! What an adventure!
Praise Jesus and Praised Holy Spirit!
As many as you know, we (me and my sister, Anita) ran our summer program “Materia Prima” (Raw Material, because Peruvians are quality exportation). This year we felt the Lord was asking us to go to the Amazons, of Peru, Colombia and Brazil. At the beginning, I thought, man that could be fun, but as I was thinking about the jungle, mosquitoes not having a bed, no good showers, and even worst not having bathrooms… I started to think, maybe we didn’t hear Him well… but I was wrong. I have to confess, this mission trip has been the most challenging, toughest, funniest trip where I truly enjoy doing mission/discipleship.
There were 13 Peruvians in our team. 11 students, me and Anita. Out of the 11, 6 were under age (14-15 years old) more than half of our team needed to get special permission from the parents and the authorities to leave the country. Most of these kids were from outside of Lima or from the very end of Lima. In other words, they didn’t have enough money, however they didn’t let this to discourage them, instead it became a great test to prove their families, friends and teachers that they really serve a Mighty and all Powerful God! After many fundraising activities (the sold food: fried pork, tamales etc… also one of them sold candies on the buses) they were able to raised $100 each, which was just enough for their airfare. Each one on them needed another $300 to make it.
Once again, we saw God provision and Glory. The night before the trip, we got many small donation from many of our (me and Anita) sponsors who believed in what the Lord was doing. We were able to raised most of the money, however the Lord managed to enlarge the faith of all our team members, some of them got their money right at the very last minute (airport). Sometimes I think the Lord does this so He can bring Glory to his name and break our poverty mentality!
While in Leticia (Colombia) and Tabatinga (Brazil), we saw God working in life of the people. Not only for those who heard the gospel for first time. But somehow we were ministering more to the church people. Many of the churches told us that we were the first Peruvian church (YWAM Lima) that came to do mission in their communities. Some of their kids, about the same age than ours, were amazed and were challenge to do mission not only in their country but to all the nations as well. I felt like we were God’s great testimony to another 3rd world country: we are ALL called to do the Great commission, not only in our country but to GO INTO ALL THE NATIONS! Their faith has been enlarged and now they believe in the impossible, they know their God is real and can do whatever He pleases.
Over all it was a great trip, I can say I know my team members very well, most important they know us, not just as leaders but also as friends.
To the Glory of God we ministered to 3 different countries, 4 different communities and over 400 salvations!!! Praise God! Praise Jesus! Praise Holy Spirit!
Once again dear friend, ANY of this could not have been possible without your support and prayers, Thank you so much! From the bottom of our hearts thank you! We pray the Lord will bring you to Peru and could join us to some of our mission trips!
Thank you!
We love you and treasure your friendship!

MATERIA PRIMA 2010
Greetings from Lima, Perú.
I am so excited to tell you that Materia Prima youth camp was amazing. (Jan 26th - Feb 7th) We had a good time there. It has been such a different experience for me, I was in charged of organizing it. The experience was awesome! I had an amazing team who helped me with all the details, decorations, outreach set up and promotion.
In the past we did it with the help, financial support and guidance of Pittsburgh YWAM base, but this year we did it ourselves. We have learned so much from them and I am so thankful of being part of them and now, being able of doing it.
Materia Prima has the same heart of knowing God and making him know, but it is design for Peruvians to Peruvians. Wanting to rise up our own people and challenge them to go deeper with the Lord and believe in the great calling God has given to the Peruvians.
We had 20 young Peruvian from all over Lima. The first five days we taught them how to listen God’s voice trained them on sharing and defending their faith, taught them some dramas and dances, ministering and spending time with them.
After that time, we split in two teams for the outreach phase. My team ministering in the north part of Lima: La Molina, Miraflores. We had a good time there. We went to different plazas, markets, busy streets, door to door preaching the gospel. They were so passionate about God that they didn’t miss any opportunity of sharing God’s love to the people.
Jonathan, one of our students, has a heart for missions. One night me and him had supper together, we start talking about missions and Gods destiny for our lives. I must confess, as I was talking to him I saw myself 4 years ago, when I started dreaming about going in the mission field. We talked for a long time and I encourage him to keep on dreaming and believing the impossible! Jonathan has never been overseas, nevertheless, he is coming to our overseas trip this year! Yay! Praise God.
In those 7 days we had 672 salvations in both teams. It was a great time! We not only share God’s love to the people but also we took time to listen to the kids and ministering to them one by one.
Now, we are planning on take 8 of them to the Amazon of Peru,
I need your prayer and support for this great challenge. I ask you for your prayers for me and my sister who will be leading the team with me. Pray for our safety and open hearts to share God´s love to people in the communities in Peru and in Colombia and Brazil.
Also, I ask you for your financial support because I still need to raise $300 for my trip. I already bought my ticket to Iquitos, but I still need to pay the one for Leticia, Colombia and Tabatinga, Brazil.
