Airports don't like me!!! :(

10:48 pm (12/27) I am at the gate 20 at the Lima airport, waiting to be call by LAN Airlines. This time is different; I am no longer sitting by myself with a book, now I am actually using my Laptop! What a great blessing to have this computer…

Every time I am about to get on the plane SOMETHING has to happen. This time it wasn’t VISA issues or waiting until there is a spot open on the plane, nor money issues. This time was something even worst!

… It wasn’t until 3 hrs before I boarded the plane that I realized my passport has expired!!! L… My first reaction was… oh my gosh!!! Why didn’t I think of that before!! I could feel my blood pressure going up!!! However I know God was in control. I remember just being quite and saying on my heart: “Lord, If is your will please let me go tonight, otherwise I’ll stay here in Lima. I don’t want to do my will, but yours”

11.38 AM (12/28) .... Finally I made it to NYC!!! ... since I had a 12 hrs layover I decided to go to manhathan!!! not knowing what I was doing, The Lord provided a kind Argentinan lady who helped me, and took me all the way to manhathan (subway) ... great experience!!!

Now I am in starbucks enjoying life and Jesus!!!
going to the movies soon! until 5 pm.. then heading back to the airport (JFK) pray that I'll find another nice lady to help me!!! heheheheh

God bless you!
I'll keep you posted!
btw, Video is comming up this week! sorry for the delayed!
Blessings!

Quick YWAM Conference update!!!

Some of the things the Lord is speaking to me:

"Remember our priority is God, our relantionsip with him, not an organization"

“We are not called to run away from the problems, we are called to be INSIDE the problems” we'll transform our community from the inside out!

“Been a disciple of Jesus Christ means dying to yourself” Are you following what God wants or are you following what YOU want?

These are some of the stuff the Lord has been speaking to us (Anita and I) ... Please keep us on your prayer... we want God, nothing else but Him!!! :)

CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS!!!

.... I've been thinking and praying a lot about this coming holidays... what to do? How to celebrate Jesus birth? ... And I thought, what a better way than thinking and blessing other on this great celebration!!! Christ himself made himself nothing for the sake of us!!!!

... So... here are my thoughts...

there is a small church up in a hill, the members of this church are AMAZING! they are crazy in love with Jesus and love their Pastor... they also have a about 50 young little kids, that comes to the Sunday school... do you know what church I am talking about yet??? ... :)

Yes, it is Filadelfia Church

I have 3 plans... However I haven't decided yet which one should we do

(1) Do a very classic Christmas party, we'll buy fruit cakes (hummm) and hot chocolate! We’ll probably have some songs and dances! And then eat, eat, eat!!! (my favorite part)

(2) Have a Chicken dinner!!! that’s right! Change the classic, upgrade it a little bit and buy lost of chicken brasa, French fries and TONS OF Mayonnaise J we LOVE mayonnaise

(3) Buy presents for each and every little kid… maybe a t-shirt, or some school supplies…

… So far this has been in my heart...

My family usually does something like this every year, but we never done it for 50 kids, so is a challenge!

How can you help?

You got different options:

Fist you can help me decided which one we should do.

You can also come to Peru and take the party to them with me!!! That will be great! However, I know you are a little bit far from Peru, so if you cant make it. I understand J

You can also make a donations for the party J you can used the link on my blog, where it says: would like to support Cesar’s school/ministry

So far, we got all the fruitcakes donated to us… well, my dad did! Hahaha at least He will…

Me, anita, danny, mom, dad and anybody else who wants to come will be throwing this Christmas Party… probably close to the Christmas day…

... Lets share the love of Christ, bring joy and surprised these little ones!!! :)
you wanna help??? :)

I'll post picts of our Christmas party!
Happy thanksgiving!!!
Love you all!!!

oh... yeah!! wait... don't go yet...
I have to let you know that the LORD already provided for me to go to the CONFERENCE!!! yes! tha YWAM Conference I wanted to go! yay JESUS!!! He Rocks!!!
... I KNOW that I know that you know that He Knows that HE will provided the money to do this Christmas party as well!!! yay!!! I am excited!!!

November!

Hello guys!!!
I am so sorry for the delay! :(
This month has been awesome! So many things to tell…
As many of you know, I visit the orphanage “El Niño Emanuel” once a month. This time; me and Angie (school friend) went together to say hi and bring chicken brasa to the little ones! As always it was a great experience! Although, we didn’t get to play too much with them because they only had an hr for lunch  but we took advantage of every minute of our visit. You may see the pictures below.

School is pretty good, I am always reading more books and learning so much more about God and the Bible. One of my favorites topics this month was, “the real sinful condition of mankind” I actually have to do a paper on this topic. One of the biggest questions to answer was: Do babes go to hell or heaven when they die? Hard question ah? … Well, since this paper is due this Wednesday please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email and tell me what you think about it!

This month I had the privilege to work for COMPASSION INTERNATIONL (3 days) translating for a special group. I called “special” because the member of this group were USA artist. The first day I didn’t realize who they were, but when I got to know them I realize that they were actually pretty famous… have you ever heard of the band kutless? May be you’ve heard their song: Strong Tower? Well, two of their band member came! And I got the chance to meet them!!! Some other artist where: Mark Roach, Charmaine. We visited Compassion projects. It was a lot of fun! I have to confess that I was impressed by Compassion program. They are very organized and they are truly making a difference in the children life! Thank God for their ministry!

Also this month we had our first “movie English night” this was a very well thought outreach. My church is located in between two big English instititute (Britanico and ICPNA) there are tons of college kids studying there. So we thought: why not get as much as natives American possible together, watch a movie and practice our English with them… Well, it came out pretty good! We had over 40 people coming to our first movie night!!! And some of them came to our youth service!! Praise be to God!!! We are planning on doing this once a month.

Have you ever been in a divine appointment without even knowing it? Or have you ever shared the gospel, not knowing you were suppose to? … Well, this happened to me about a week ago. It was late at night and I just came from the seminary, I was tired and wanting to go to bed. However the Holy Spirit had different plans for me that night… a friend of mine, “xino” and his friend Alexander, came to visit me; they just wanted to say hi… I thought about telling them that I was tired and to please come other day, however I opened the door and asked to come up. To make a long story short, xino brought his friend to me because he wanted me to share the gospel with him.
Xino is a close friend of mine. First time I meet him was at our summer camp Joshua Generations. He is a good boy, however is hard for him to share his faith. So I had the privilege to lead his friend (Alexander) to the Lord. It was amazing! I never felt used by God as much as I did that night! Everything made sense! That’s why I am on earth! To keep on spreading Gods love, not only on big outreach but also in unexpected “divines appointments” I am humble and happy the Lord picked me to share his Love to this young man! Both are currently going to church and growing in the Lord.
I also posted some pictures of our family vacations. We went to a small town, about 2 hrs from Lima; we had a great weekend away from computers, TVs and everything. We talked as a Family and enjoy our time with Jesus!!! It was awesome!
Prayer Request:
Please would you keep me in prayer? Would you please ask the Lord to keep me in love with him, that I may know him more every day.

One of the desires of my heart is to attend to the first YWAM Conference here in PERU!! As many of you know, I am helping YWAM LIMA as much as I can, and all the south of southamerican bases are getting together for their annual conference. However, this is the first year they are doing it here in Peru. I am not sure yet, if I am going… my monthly budget is not stable yet and I don’t have an extra 100 dollars to pay this conference. Would you please pray that God will provide the money for me to go? And please would you pray that I will be able to have a stable monthly budget.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and pray!
If you would like to support my ministry or would like to make a donation, would you please send me and email and I will explain you how. cesarausejobueno@gamil.com
Cesarchip7@hotmail.com

Thank you guys! And can’t wait to see you all!!! Here on earth or up in HEAVEN!!!

Love,
Cesar

September 09 - Studying, Studying, Studying! :)

Dear Friends and Family:
Let me greet you using Peter words:

“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
1Pe 1:1-2
Things the Lord has done this month (September)

This month has been a lot of studies! I’ve just finish a week of partial test at the seminary I am attending to. It was hard but Jesus was good to me! He helped me a lot!
As some of you know, I’ve been visiting and helping the orphanage “El nino Emanuel” I visited them the very first week of September and thanks to Price of Peace Church’s donations I was able to buy BBQ chicken for everyone! We had so much fun!!! The kids ate everything! I mean everything! French fries, rice, and of course they loved chicken brasa!!! It was a lot of fun. Thank you very much Prince of Peace.

By September 17 YWAM Pittsburgh send a medical team. Well, a very small team, however very efficient. Aaron, the dentist, was always busy! I know that he did close to 80 tooth extractions on one day!!! Can you imagine that!! Blood everywhere!
Along with Dr. Aaron, Doug Tunney (Base Director) and Lima came. They helped him and share the word of God with the people that where waiting to see the Doctor. It was a great ministry time. However I wasn’t able to be with them every day. I wish I had more free time, but school work is a lot! Memorizing scripture, reading lots of books besides the Bible…. No excuse though, I did my best to go and help as much as I could. They stayed at my house so I was able to talk and rejoice with them every night.
This was the first time my church (CMA) worked with a USA Doctor, and they did very well. I have to say that it came out better than I thought. What we did was: we got another 8 doctors from our church to join this medical campaign (for one day), so we didn’t give only dental care, but physical therapy, 2 general doctors, 3 psychologist and 2 more Dentist as well. Praise God! It was a great time! People from everywhere came and not only got free attention but we they received the word of God.

What is the Lord doing now?

Septembers last week, as I mentioned before, has been crazy busy studying! But now I have one week vacations! That’s why I have more time to write you guys!
A quick update at the seminary. Classes are coming well, I made tons of new friends, and believe it or not, I love reading books now!!! Hahahah  I do! There are so many things I don’t know and these books are helping a lot!!! I’ll be back to school next Monday.

I thought about going away for this week, may be the highlands of Peru or somewhere closer. But I am trying to save up some money (for a car) so I’ve decided to just chill at home, buy movies ($1 each) and spend time with friends at home.

What is the Lord going to do this month?

Well, I must say this is a very exciting month for me, because I get to be more involved in a church planting project. This coming Friday I am going to meet with all the Church’s leaders (Iglesia Filadelfia) Pastor Manuel’s church and evaluated what we’ve been doing so far. My goal is to truly recognize our MAJOR GOALS (as a church), and evaluated if the teams that came this year helped us reaching those goals or not.

I believe that for the leaders to engage in growing and multiplying their church family, they need to KNOW their real goals and needs, working towards that. Many times we do different things, projects that look good, however they don’t help reaching those goals, which is growing as a church and preserving the new believers.

I’ll keep you inform about the outcome of this meeting. Please pray for me, because this is something new for me. I never done it before but I know the Lord putted it on my heart to help this precious church.

Also, this Friday I am going back to the orphanage!!! And again, thanks to POP church donations I am able to buy chicken lunch for everyone!!! I am so happy to do this for the church! The kids love me!!! Hahaha … they know every time that “gotdito” comes, means chicken brasa!!! Hahahaha.. I truly care for them and love them though!

Finally, we are helping setting up another outreach for YWAM Pittsburgh (this is not 100% sure yet), The very last week of October, my dear friend Mark is coming with a church , so we are going to do our best to help and minister together. I can’t tell you our schedule yet. But I’ll do later on this month.

Personal Thoughts:

I am sorry I don’t have many pictures this month. But the ones you see at the begging of my blog are my latest visit to the orphanage. You’ll see the kids eating chicken! Hummm… I’ll put up more pictures later on this month.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted” Mat 5:3-4

I’ve been mediating a lot about these verses. Now, I understand the power of being in a place of neediness before the Lord. To truly recognize our sinful nature, not in a way of condemning myself, but in a way that makes me TOTAL DEPENT on Him every day! In a way of truly seeking of his face; knowing that there is nothing I can do apart from him!

When we see our need, and cry out for His help. He will come running, take our hands and be our strength! It is from that strength that we can go out and be a blessing to this falling world. I challenge you to meditate in these scripture and tried the power of God in your neediness.

God bless you my dear friend!
May the peace and grace of God be with you all!

August 09 - what a crazy month!!!!

Dear Friends,

"Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Thess 1.2)
May the Lord bless you and keep you all well!

This is my first time writing a blog. I am not an expert, but I'll do my best. I'll write updates once a month, sharing with you what the Lord has done, what He is doing and what He is going to do in Peru.

Things the Lord has done this month (August)

As I mentioned on my title, August was a CRAZY month! And I really mean it! in a good way of course! :) I love keeping myself busy and I can tell my Lord wants me to be busy as well!!!

Well, as many fo you know, I love hosting teams and organizing their mission trips. It's a passion the Lord has given me. Sometimes I think of myself as a bridge between cultures, mainly between Peruvian and American culture. Perhaps that’s why the Lord allowed me to live close to 3 years in the USA. This is why the Lord keep on sending teams from the USA, I love helping and serving them, it’s always an honor!

By the end of July I had 2 teams working in different parts of Lima. The first one form Dallas, USA - Prince of Peace (POP), Lutheran Church - Dearly friends of mine! And YWAM (Youth With a Misson) Bolivia - Kings kids - a small group of 6. Both of them stayed until the first week of August. I've never lead two teams as the same time, so this was a great challenge.

I needed to stayed with POP church because they were a larger group and I was helping leading the team. We had such a great time! Waking up early in the morning and staying up late at night sharing what the Lord did that day! it was a great time of fellowship.

For those of my friends that never heard of POP, let me share with you in a few lines who they are. The first time I worked with them was close to 5 years ago and my heart attached to many of their members! Dear brother and sisters that The Lord has used to changed, challenge, blessed and guide my life. There is so much to tell about them, but I will do it later on. I want to keep my blog on what happened this month.

As I was leading the POP team, I was always thinking and praying for the YWAM Bolivia team. I was with them the first couple days and the very last day. They worked with Church Filadelfia in Huaycan, with Pastor Manuel. They actually went deep in the highlands of Peru, about 8 hrs on a bus, to preached and distributed medicine to Pastor's Manuel home town. YWAM Bolivia stayed in Peru until August 5th.

On the other hand, working with POP was a great challenge, because we were close to 25 people, counting translators. But our good Lord Jesus helped us every day and guided us in what we needed to do! During the almost 10 days that they stayed in Huaycan we: (1) visited an orphanage (El Nino Emanuel) and held a 3 days retreat for the orphans, where we had close discipleship, times of praying, playing and sharing Gods love with them. We also bought each one of them new shoes! (2) we worked with Filadelfia Church, we held a leaders conference and took them out to do food distribution to the neighbors.

I have to confess though; I was extremely tired at the end of this trip. However I only had 2 days before the seminary start! I was running here, running there, getting all the paper work together, making all the payments! And by next wensday (August 12th) I was at my first Theology class!
Materia Prima, por que los peruanos somos calidad de exportación. “Raw Material” for the Peruvians are export quality.

There is so much to tell you! But I feel like I’ve wrote a lot all ready! However, I must share with you this amazing retreat we had by the end of August! It was called “Raw Material” for the Peruvians are export quality. This was a Gods dream given to my sister, Anita. I had the honor to serve under her and helped leading this event. This was a weekend retreat, mainly for seniors high schools students and older, where we taught them: (1) How to listen God’s voice, (2) Evangelism, (3) Dances, (4) Dramas, (5) Breaking the “poverty mentality” (6) Identity as Peruvians, (6) Missions. But above all we wanted them to REALLY know God, in a deeper and different way. And they did! God changed their hearts!

We had 20 young people coming to our 3 days retreat, kids from different parts of Lima. On the last day (Sunday) we took them to a park to do what they’ve learned. We had 2 dances and 1 drama. Many people came to the Lord!!!

I am always amazed when I see young people wanting to serve Jesus! To see their faces in adoration saying YES! Yes Jesus! I’ll do as you ask! I love you, send me!!! What a great honor to serve them and what a privilege to see a great army! An army that will impact and change this world for the Glory of our Father! Amen!

What is the Lord doing now?

Well, this week has been a hard one! I had an idea about seminary, however I never thought I was going to be so many hrs reading and meditating on God’s word! I have to tell you that it is a LOT of work! A lot of assignments and projects! But is all worth it! I am learning so much! And can’t wait to put it into practice in my ministry!

Currently I am taking 4 classes a week :) I am studying (1) Theology (2) The Books of Acts (3) Introduction to the New Testament (3) Homeletica (don’t know the translation, sorry)

I’ve made new friends, most of them pastors! Therefore I have new contacts! New places to visit and take teams! Great!!! :)

What is the Lord going to do?

Well, this month is going so fast!!! However, there is still a lot of work to be done! I am going this Monday to Huaycan(September 7th), to visit the orphanage and bring chicken dinner!! (Pollo a la brasa con papas fritas hummm…. Chicken brasa with tons of french fries!!!) Thanks to POP donations!

Also I’ll be meeting several pastors in the area to coordinate a small medical outreach. We are planning on having a small team from YWAM Pittsburgh. They will bring one doctor and 2 pastors, for September 17th. However, my church (Christian Missionary Alliance) will provided more doctors to helped us through the week. We’ll have 2 dentist, 3 nurses, one pediatrician and one general doctor. Our schedule will be:

September 19 – Working with CMA San Miguel
September 20 – Working in Huaycan – Filadelfia Church
September 21 – Working in Huaycan - Cristo Rey y Señor church
September 22 – Working in Huaycan - Orphanage “El Niño Emanuel”
September 23 to 25 – Working with YWAM Lima in Carabyallo.

As you know, my sister Anita is on staff with YWAM Lima, and she is in charge of setting up and hosting all the YWAM teams that comes to Peru. Even though I am not at YWAM staff, I am still YWAM’er, close friend and coworker with YWAM Lima. That’s why; my sister and I are setting up this event.

Currently I am serving under Grace Life Church, a great family that the Lord has allowed me to join. I think of you (GLC) as a great and large family! I love you all and hope to see you (if Gods will) on December this year! – I really hope God will open the doors to see you all again –

Personal Thoughts:

I am really excited to see God moving among Peruvians! I believe is Peru time! Time for us to go and fulfill the great commission! God has equipped us with the faith to believe and trust that He will supply our needs as we serve and love him! There is no doubt in my heart that the Lord has a great and special plan for us! It is an honor for me to stay in Peru, as long as my Lord asks me to, and serve among my people!

I want to thank you all for your love, care, support and friendship!

One of the reasons why I am creating this blog is because I want to you to feel part of what God is doing here! Because each one of you, in one way or another, has impact and blessed my life, helping to created the man I am becoming: a follower and disciple of Christ.

My deepest desire is that you will know Christ; that your relationship with him will grow beyond what you could ever imagine! That you will know him as a Merciful God! Full of compassion and Love!! He does have a great plan for your life. A destiny that can only be fulfill BY you! Only you! No one else can do the work he has prepared for you! I challenge you to walk on that destiny! Trust and love Him with all your heart, mind and soul!

I love you all! And hope to hear from you soon! If you may, please leave a comment and ways I can improve my blog! Thank you!
