Peru, Brazil and Colombia! What an adventure!

First of all I have to give thanks to the Lord for allowing us to bring another 100% Peruvian team to the nations. We are finally walking in our destiny! Praised God!
Praise Jesus and Praised Holy Spirit!

As many as you know, we (me and my sister, Anita) ran our summer program “Materia Prima” (Raw Material, because Peruvians are quality exportation). This year we felt the Lord was asking us to go to the Amazons, of Peru, Colombia and Brazil. At the beginning, I thought, man that could be fun, but as I was thinking about the jungle, mosquitoes not having a bed, no good showers, and even worst not having bathrooms… I started to think, maybe we didn’t hear Him well… but I was wrong. I have to confess, this mission trip has been the most challenging, toughest, funniest trip where I truly enjoy doing mission/discipleship.

There were 13 Peruvians in our team. 11 students, me and Anita. Out of the 11, 6 were under age (14-15 years old) more than half of our team needed to get special permission from the parents and the authorities to leave the country. Most of these kids were from outside of Lima or from the very end of Lima. In other words, they didn’t have enough money, however they didn’t let this to discourage them, instead it became a great test to prove their families, friends and teachers that they really serve a Mighty and all Powerful God! After many fundraising activities (the sold food: fried pork, tamales etc… also one of them sold candies on the buses) they were able to raised $100 each, which was just enough for their airfare. Each one on them needed another $300 to make it.

Once again, we saw God provision and Glory. The night before the trip, we got many small donation from many of our (me and Anita) sponsors who believed in what the Lord was doing. We were able to raised most of the money, however the Lord managed to enlarge the faith of all our team members, some of them got their money right at the very last minute (airport). Sometimes I think the Lord does this so He can bring Glory to his name and break our poverty mentality!

While in Leticia (Colombia) and Tabatinga (Brazil), we saw God working in life of the people. Not only for those who heard the gospel for first time. But somehow we were ministering more to the church people. Many of the churches told us that we were the first Peruvian church (YWAM Lima) that came to do mission in their communities. Some of their kids, about the same age than ours, were amazed and were challenge to do mission not only in their country but to all the nations as well. I felt like we were God’s great testimony to another 3rd world country: we are ALL called to do the Great commission, not only in our country but to GO INTO ALL THE NATIONS! Their faith has been enlarged and now they believe in the impossible, they know their God is real and can do whatever He pleases.

PERU JUNGLE!

During our last 3 days in Peru’s Jungle, we were able to visited many communities, preached on a church and brought the Gospel to them. Our team got to see the reality of Peru Amazons, and how the communities have a totally different life than ours. The day started about 430 am when the sun is coming up, then about 8 pm everybody was sleeping, no more sun light, only few had candles. Also we were able to see the work of YWAM Peru in these unreached communities. YWAM has built many churches and wells. Through the summer the river dries up and the people have to walk a couple miles to get clean water. Many of them who do this work are women and children. Thank God YWAM had built many wells, in different part of the amazons. Personally, I am bringing a team ( July) to work with unreached communities (YWAM haven’t have any contact them yet) and built wells for them as well. If you are interested in these project/missions please let me know. cesarausejobueno@gmail.com

Over all it was a great trip, I can say I know my team members very well, most important they know us, not just as leaders but also as friends.

To the Glory of God we ministered to 3 different countries, 4 different communities and over 400 salvations!!! Praise God! Praise Jesus! Praise Holy Spirit!

Once again dear friend, ANY of this could not have been possible without your support and prayers, Thank you so much! From the bottom of our hearts thank you! We pray the Lord will bring you to Peru and could join us to some of our mission trips!
Thank you!
We love you and treasure your friendship!
Cesar and Anita Ausejo
